Reflections by Mariz is a personal blog. It is the musings of a “simple, fun-loving person who likes to make new friends, learn new things and take adventures… Enjoying everything life has to offer.”

This blog started only in May 2008 yet everything about this website feels right. It isn’t perfect and it may even be lacking in technical areas and parlance but it has all the ingredients of a notable blog and the makings of a well-liked site.

The layout is balanced, the design fits the theme and the colors just gives off this vibrant light feeling. The blog exudes positive energy, if there’s such a field in blogging!

The author tackles day-to-day living and is certainly focusing on what is positive, helpful and uplifting instead of highlighting the negatives in life. We can read it and we can sense it! There are relevant sections like “Daily Bread,” Nugget of Wisdom,” and even a “Dose of Laughter.” The posts are easy to read and it doesn’t wear you down. Always inspiring, always cheerful and her photo profile shows it in her smile!

She has categories! Great! The only thing we suggest is either adding the labels/tags or adding a search form in the sidebar for an even faster, easier navigation. Plus don’t forget the disclosure and privacy policy pages.
