Julia-Aquino: Entertainment

We’re trying to understand what makes a blog tick and what makes it sink? Does the term “x-factor” apply to blogging too?
X-factor is a mysterious term that is not even found on the dictionary but almost everyone knows its usage in the entertainment industry to discriminate the successful to the less successful model or artist.
If any blogger could have the x-factor, Julia-Aquino certainly has it pulsating in every page of her Celebs, Gossip, Music and Entertainment blog! We’re not too thrilled about how long the entire page loads even in broadband (with errors at that), and how our browser froze while clicking on the pages. We’re most positively impartial with the pink, somewhat topsy-turvy layout and we can say the same for the way the articles are delivered, and the author knows it because she even puts pun on her disclaimer to wit in verbatim: “Plleease, don’t never ever complain for wrong gramars and wrong spelings words on this blogs, the bloggers is just a wanabee, she didn’t even pinished her elementary days and just wanna blog, is that a krime?”
Despite all that, we can’t help but take notice! Does an entertainment blog really gets that much attention?! Heck, we should have started an entertainment blog instead!
Is it the racy photos? The controversial news stories? The fresh, updated articles? Is it that her name sounds like a famous actress’ name? Is it her dedication and love for blogging? Or is she just one lucky blogger?!
Started only in October 2007, this blog has raked in over 500,000 page views, included in the Top 100,000 Alexa ranking, over a hundred subscribers, over 600 Technorati authority, received over 20 blog awards, thousands of Yahoo! inlinks, and is on decent standings on various blog rankings and directories! If that’s not splendid for less than a year old blog, we don’t know anything!
Whatever it is that makes for this successful if not inspiring blog, she’s got the “It” factor and the “x-factor” combined and we’re deeply impressed. See for yourself. Congratulations, Julia!
