Inkblots: Life Unraveled

How do we even begin to describe a blog that elicits fervor, warmth and eagerness just from reading? In it’s simplicity, there is so much truthfulness; In its delivery of anecdotes and personal reflections, like a skillful artist painting his own Monet art, there is dedication and passion.
In the author’s essays are some of the most affecting photos we have seen beautifully photographed as though they were poetry. This blog celebrates life and gives positive personal meanings to all that surrounds him. In adversity, he seeks assurance. In fortunate and happy times, he finds contentment. The author is a true storyteller not only with his writings but his photos as well, stirring you with lingering thoughts long after you have read or seen his work.
His entry to a blogging contest in 2007 that he won is outstanding and well deserved! His ’small’ initiative for an online offering of prayers and condolences towards the victims of a bombing tragedy in the Philippines in October 2007 turned out to be greater than he wished for when a really huge number of people heed his call. The media took notice and was featured in a number of internet sites because of it.
We are privileged to have this website on our gallery. We highly recommend it to anyone in need of a respite or a just friendly face. The articles are worthwhile and the photographs, unforgettable!
Postscript: The blog is inspired by the Rorschach’s (pronounced as ‘ror-shock’ or ‘ror-shak’) Inkblots Test explaining that the inkblots convey personal meanings to different people. That’s the general idea anyway but for the last half century, this tool that is used in Psychological testing has been under extreme scrutiny over its validity and reliability. Because the results are subjective depending on the Psychologist’s interpretation, its usage is somewhat controversial and has been compared to be no less than different from fortune telling or cold reading.
We couldn’t help but dig in further on the Rorschach’s Inkblot’s Test and while we’re skeptics on the said test, let it be known that we are true believers and admirers of the Inkblots: Life Unraveled, the blog.
