This is a successful (still on-going) campaign made possible by synergistic endeavors of Filipinas wanting to “clean up” the image of Filipinas online. This (demeaning) image appears on search results when typing the keyword “Filipina.” From a massive mail-order brides, dating and penpal websites that clogs the front page of Google search results, the campaign is able to put “Filipina” in a more balanced view with more decent, and relevant sites appearing on the search results.
