Crissy’s Haven

Finding “Crissy’s Haven” wasn’t hard. No internet Global Positioning System (GPS) required! Loading of her site was fast enough. No surprising pop-ads along the way. **The layout is nice and clean!** Her warm Davao smile immediately greeted us! It’s our first time to visit and see her blog but we feel close already!

This is most important in having a successful personal blog! Make it personal- plain and simple. Don’t make us second guess who you are. Our internet time is precious. We don’t have time to figure out what your blog is all about. Tell us!

She’s making a comeback to blogging we see. So far so good for her! We wanna see more Davao stuff along the way! We’re all the way here in the United States but this writer used to be a Davao City resident and in fact was born there! Still considers it the best livable place in the Philippines! We miss Davao! Share more!

Lastly, we’d like to send her our congratulations for purchasing a domain! Like in reality, there’s nothing like having our own ‘home’ that we can really call ours. Indeed, Crissy found her haven in the Internet to share her life… her sentiments. Visit her web home sometime and get a friendly welcome!

No PageRank data as of yet; new domain.

__________________________
A few key observations for Crissy: Kindly change your footer where it says “Home.” When we click that, it takes us to Blogger homepage. No, we don’t wanna sign up for Blogger. After skimming your articles and we’re at the bottom page, we just want to head home back to you– your site– not Blogger’s.

Next, clicking “about.” If you don’t have an “about page,” we please suggest you create one. We know you have the “about me” from your Blogger profile- already on your sidebar, which really helped get to know you. Nonetheless, since you have “about” on your footer, you might as well place what’s on your profile or add more of your own “about page” so it doesn’t just take us to your “home.” You with us so far? ;-)

Now, “contact” : if you don’t have a link for us to contact you- then you don’t need that page.

You know you can either delete the default pages (about and contact; except home) or change them to point to a link that you want, don’t you? You don’t need to have those if you don’t have anything to link it with. If you do not know and need more further help on what we’re writing about- contact us!

Most importantly:

You are a Google adsense user and you don’t have a privacy policy page! Didn’t you get the memo? :-) Please head over to our friends at Blogs That Follow and read why it is so important to have one!

Keep blogging! Until our next visit to your ‘home.’

**We really like Amanda, the genius behind Blogger Buster! So please indulge us. When this writer was still doing her blogs in Blogger, she had one of Amanda’s free templates and it was great! She found herself in a slight mess with the template, yelled 911 and there she was to the rescue! Very sweet lady! Not to mention that her Blogger tips and tricks helped this author enormously and when needed! Great, great site! Anybody using Blogger should bookmark Blogger Buster!
